Organ Meats Pre-order Campaign and Book Tour!
Horror season is upon us, and the girls of Organ Meats are feral, horny, and on their way to haunt you
(Art by Angie Wang - more details below on how to get a print of this gorgeous artwork!)
Happy October! It’s my favorite time of year: horror season! I always joke to people that Halloween is MY Christmas, but in reality, it’s far beyond that. October is when our weirdest, queerest, and most transgressive selves get a chance to erupt from our bodies and roam the streets. When the monstrous and the haunted get to assert their place in reality. When the world is forced to bend to the will of ghosts, beasts, and everything else we most fear and most desire.
So it’s a true dream of mine to have a book release in October (on the 24th! So close to Halloween!) For the first time, I feel like I’m truly a part of this sacred, profane, and transformative time that I love so dearly. I get to feel like I’m embedded in the fabric of this season of pageantry and romance, which is an honor and a privilege. I am delighted to share that my horror-inspired feral girl novel, ORGAN MEATS, is coming out on 10/24 with One World! It’s got body horror, banana ghosts, islands that flip upside down, and more importantly, two rabid girls who share a heart and a destiny. (Rabid in the most literal sense! They are also dogs.) You can read more about Organ Meats and preorder here.
"Magnificent...Chang’s hallucinogenic prose is wild and alive, a savage yawp of liberating beastliness in the face of all that would seek to yoke her heroes to the dreary laws of man.”
- Publisher’s Weekly (Starred Review)
And most excitingly, my publisher and I collaborated with the absolutely brilliant and endlessly imaginative artist Angie Wang to create the above Organ Meats-inspired art print! If you’d like one of these prints, pre-order Organ Meats wherever books are sold and enter your purchase confirmation number at this link: bit.ly/OrganMeatsPreorder. (US residents, 18+, ends 10/23). You can head to the link for more info!
I’m also delighted to be on book tour this fall - my launch will be on Halloween night, which is truly exciting. I’d love to see you at one of these stops! Come say hi (or trick or treat!)
